ENGERICA are one of the bands that really gave me a taste for live gigs and music in general. They were a punk rock band made up of Dave Gardner, Michael Webster and Neil-Ross Gregory.

This band were bloody nuts live. Aggressive, funny, spitting at each other, but above all ferociously heavy. All held together by massively poppy hooks and genuinely great songs.

They managed to get a deal for their only album ‘There Are No Happy Endings’ and played at Download festival, as well as securing some prestigious support slots with Sum 41 and Yellowcard.

Ultimately it wasn’t a happy ending because they split up in 2006! Michael Webster can however be found fronting his new band Baddies.

‘Roadkill’ is the second single lifted off their album. And it’s the bollocks!
