RICH CROOKS is a rock photographer who has been following and documenting the local scene for years now. If there is a band worth knowing about locally, chances are Rich has snapped them. All you need to do is scroll through this blog to see a lot of his work already!
His ethos is ‘rock n roll’ photography. Not only can he nail the perfect live shot, but his portraiture and group shots are moody, and tell a story beyond just what the band look like. The great thing is he prefers unsigned and local bands, and he is affordable, so us musical dreamers can get professional shots that won’t break the bank!
He has recently been working on a project of his own called Cuckoo Litefoot, and tells the tail of a legendary blues singer and guitarist who sells his soul to the devil.
The pics on display are in order:
1) ENGERICA (The Smell artwork)
3) LUKE BRANCH (Smother, Hoodlums, etc.)
4) GET CAPE. WEAR CAPE. FLY
6-9) CUCKOO LITEFOOT
